Pedestal Table

I just listed my first piece of refinished furniture for sale.  I am so anxious!  

I love this table and chairs, I am kind of sad to see it go.  I get attached to things, can't you tell.

I had lots of fun refinishing this piece.  This table is solid oak, and it had a dark stain on it, which was perfect for what I had in mind.

I painted over the top of the dark stain with a cream latex paint and then sanded it down to add some character!  I then waxed it with a hard wax for a durable top coat!

I love the cute vintage feel of this table.  It is great for anywhere, without the leaf it is the perfect table for a small space!
